How your data is used on the ScriptDP website and our WhatsApp automation platform. Last updated: 3 November 2026.
Who we are
ScriptDP is run by Durga Pratap, India. For the website enquiry form we decide why and how your data is used (we are the “Data Fiduciary”). On the WhatsApp automation platform, the business that uses it decides that for its own customers’ data, and we only process it on the business’s behalf (we are the “Data Processor”).
Website enquiry: what is collected
The enquiry form collects your name, WhatsApp number, selected service, budget range and project brief. Messages and contact information shared in chat may also be processed. We ask for your consent with a checkbox before you submit.
Website enquiry: how it is used
Details are used to respond, understand scope and follow up. Enquiries go to our lead storage and, when configured, a connected CRM. AI chat messages may be processed by the configured AI provider. Opening WhatsApp is subject to WhatsApp’s privacy policy.
WhatsApp automation platform: data we process
For a business that connects WhatsApp to our platform we store: the business name, login email and profile details; the WhatsApp Business Account ID, phone number ID and access token (encrypted); messages sent to and from that number (the customer’s WhatsApp number, profile name and message text); and knowledge the business adds (text or files).
WhatsApp automation platform: why it is used
To receive messages, generate automatic replies from the business’s own knowledge, show chats to the business and its staff in the inbox, and send replies written by staff. We do not sell this data, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models.
Consent of a business’s customers
The business that uses the platform is responsible for telling its own customers how their messages are handled and for having their consent where the law requires it. See the Terms of Service.
Who it is shared with
Meta (WhatsApp Business Platform) delivers the messages. To create replies, message text is processed by our configured AI model (currently on our own server; later possibly a provider such as Anthropic or OpenAI). Data is stored on our hosting server. It is not shared with anyone else unless required by law.
Retention and security
Data is kept while the business account is active, or until you ask us to delete it. Access tokens are stored encrypted, each business can only see its own data (with roles and permissions), and access to our server is limited to the owner.
If there is a data breach
If personal data is exposed, we will inform the affected businesses and the Data Protection Board of India as the law requires, and tell you what happened and what to do.
Children
Our services are for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect data of anyone under 18. If you think a child’s data reached us, write to scriptdp@gmail.com and we will delete it.
Data deletion
A business can delete its knowledge entries and customers itself. To delete the whole account, a connected WhatsApp number, or a customer’s chats, write to scriptdp@gmail.com or send a WhatsApp message; we delete it within 30 days. If you are a customer of a business using our platform, contact that business or us to have your data removed.
Your rights and complaints
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, withdraw your consent, or complain. Write to Durga Pratap at scriptdp@gmail.com. We reply within 2 working days and resolve the matter within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Your choices
Do not share sensitive records, passwords or API keys. Submitting an enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing.
